PMB Helin Donovan LLP, the Russell Bedford CPA network member firm in Texas and San Francisco, has appointed three new partners.
Mickey O'Neal, CPA, has been appointed in the Houston office as an audit partner. He has significant SEC and private practice assurance experience. His clients have historically been focused in a variety of industries including healthcare, oil and gas and oil-field services, biofuels production, high-technology and construction. Mickey has worked with entrepreneurial clients and emerging businesses in local and international firms. He has written numerous articles in healthcare journals and regional publications, spoken at many seminars for physicians and other trade associations and is co-author of the "Chart of Accounts for Healthcare Organizations", published by the Center for Research in Ambulatory Healthcare Administration.
Jim Kearby, CPA, has joined PMB Helin Donovan as a tax partner in the Dallas office after 26 years of providing accounting, consulting and tax services with a national accounting firm, with a Big-4 firm and in his own private practice. He specializes in providing tax accounting, compliance, planning and consulting services to a diverse industry base and has extensive experience in providing these services to individuals, partnerships and S-corporations. Jim is also actively involved in representing clients before local, state and federal tax authorities to resolve tax disputes and audits. Jim is a frequent speaker at various events discussing tax issues and provides frequent tax updates on Linkedin and Twitter.
Bob Lewis has joined PMB Helin Donovan as a partner and Chief Marketing Officer. He is located in Chicago and is also the Managing Partner of Visionary Marketing, which is a specialty marketing and business development company with a staff of six professionals, all dedicated to creating new business for the accounting profession. Bob was an accountant for over a decade prior to creating Visionary over 15 years ago. His role at PMB Helin Donovan is to refine their image and branding, expand their industry and service niches, increase awareness in the different cities the firm operates in, as well as work to train all professionals in the firm on selling and marketing for the accounting profession. Bob will also continue to operate Visionary and support other non-competing accounting practices by acting as their Marketing Director and business development department.
