Now using a sponge and water, wet the surface of the cling, which you would be applying to the glass. Now that the hard part is done, installing the sling is actually quite simple.

Starting from one corner of the film, peel the cling from the backing. Align the edges of the cling to the top of the window and then allow the wet solution to slide the decal into position. Once the cling is in position, use a putty knife or your hands to smooth out the wrinkles and the bubbles.

Spray detergent solution atop the cling and using a squeegee set the film into place. Trim the edges and dry the film with paper towels. The dry application needed for smaller sized static clings is the same.

Remove the cling from the board and place it in contact with the window. Now use a rubber roller work from the center of the film and roll out to the edges.
