Panic disorder is a condition that is extremely common, and therefore one that you should watch out for in yourself. It only makes sense that this condition would be increasingly common, as in the world that we live in today everything keeps getting busier and more fast paced and as a result there are more people who are stressed out and feeling as though they are at the end of their rope.
Stress is one of the most major causes of panic disorder and so especially if you have a lot of stress in your life or you have gone through something traumatic you may be experiencing panic attacks and not even know about it until now.
Watching for Symptoms
This is why it is going to be so important for you to be aware of the different panic attack disorder symptoms that are often experienced, so that you would be able to recognize if you yourself were dealing with any of these panic attack disorder symptoms and if so, you could then work your way up and find the right panic attack treatment that is going to offer you relief.
There are quite a few different panic attack disorder symptoms that people with this condition complain of. Feeling faint or lightheaded is certainly one of the most common, and then there are also other symptoms such as hot flashes or chills, a sense of terror or impending doom, nausea, difficulty breathing, and a tightening in the chest.
Often this tightening is so incredibly intense that the person feels as though they are having a heart attack, and some even call 911.
The symptoms of a panic attack will appear suddenly, and so chances are that you will not even see the panic attack coming until you are dealing with the panic attack disorder symptoms, and this is really the worst part of all, is that you are not able to prepare yourself for what is going to happen.
Make sure that you try to relieve the amount of stress that you have in your life, whether it has to do with your personal or professional life, or even both. The more that you can reduce your life of stress, not only the fewer panic attacks you are going to have, but as well the better your life is going to be in general. Whether you do yoga or just have a bath at night, do things that you know will help you to calm down.
