Health stores around the world and country sell aromatherapy lotion. It is not strange things to be using aromatherapy lotion, even men use it, maybe just more behind the scenes at the moment, but they do still use it. They don’t exactly want everyone to know they may have a sensitive side to them or even a feminine side, or actually do take proper care of themselves.
There is nothing wrong with men using aromatherapy lotion or even aromatherapy body lotion for soothing ailments. Ailments such as stress, headaches and pains in the body can be healed with the use of aromatherapy lotion, with warm hands comforting aching spasm muscles, and the scent being inhaled also eases the breathing and relaxation process. That is why the scents in an aromatherapy lotion are not overpowering, but subtle infusions of oils of plants such as sandalwood and lavender, rose, cinnamon, vanilla, opium, Jasmine, you name the flavor or oil that can be tapped from a plant and you could have it. Some plant oils may not be suitable for an aromatherapy lotion due to their potent fragrances that they have, or due to chemicals they may contain, but it does not rule them out for usage anyway.
Aromatherapy lotion should not only moisten the skin besides soothing the aches and pains below the skin, its good for when baby has come out of a warm bath, to sooth their skin which could also help them fall asleep when using lavender infused aromatherapy lotion.
Just in general even when just smelling the aromas from some of the lotions is enough to heighten your senses and put your mind already in a better state of calmness and tranquility or sharpen your wits with the infusions of mint.
Although various aromas from essential oils that are used have different soothing or heightening effects, not everyone is can use them on the skin due to allergies even though there are stringent tests to try and get them as naturally allergy free as possible. It is a lengthy process to tap essential oils from plants and that is why purchasing natural aromatherapy products are not that cheap. It does take a lot of leaves or flowers to get that tiny little bottle filled, but then again when used with a base only a drop or two is required, nothing more as the instructions will tell you.
