No matter what the occasion, lobster tails are always an excellent choice. In order to enjoy delicious grilled lobster tails, it is important to understand some tips about grilling lobster tails.

One of the most important things to keep in mind about grilling lobster tails is that the process does not need to be difficult. It actually does not take that long to grill lobster tails. This is one of the biggest mistakes that many people make when grilling lobster tails. Unfortunately, many people think that it takes far longer for grilling lobster tails than it actually does. Grilling lobster tails only takes about five minutes, seven minutes at the most. You will actually spend more time preparing whatever seasonings or marinade you want for the lobster tails than you will spend on the actual cooking process. Below is a simple recipe that you can use for grilling lobster tails.

Begin by preheating your grill to a medium-high heat. Next, cut the lobster tails in half lengthwise. This will expose the fleshy part of the lobster. Combine a small amount of olive oil with some lemon juice and a dash of salt and pepper. Brush the mixture onto the fleshy part of the lobster tails and then place the lobster onto the grill. Stay close by the grill because the lobster tails will be done within about five minutes or so. If the lobster tails are a bit on the large side, it could take somewhat longer to cook the lobster tails, but never more than seven minutes total.

Once the lobster tails are completely cooked you should remove them from the heat immediately and serve right away. Do not allow the lobster tails to grow cold as they will not be nearly as tasty as they would be if served immediately.

If you wish you may also use other types of seasonings in the marinade for your grilled lobster tails. Garlic is always an excellent choice when grilling lobster tails. You might also consider using other seasonings as well, such as paprika. Of course, if you are feeling daring you might also consider experimenting with some different seasonings in order to come up with a taste for your grilled lobster tails that is completely unique and different. Regardless of how you choose to grill your lobster, you will be certain to have a dish that is delicious and will win rave reviews from your guests.
