Blogging is easy. I hear that all the time. Coupled with the usual hype about how you can make money sleeping, eating, watching telly or doing whatever you love to, it makes it look the money is out there for everybody.
Have you ever wondered why people would still clock in 8 hours a day for a pittance? If making money out of a blog was that easy wouldn't we all stay at home and never have to worry about the hustle and bustle of the office?
For the time I have been blogging, I have discovered that working online is no different than offline. It takes sweat, blood and tears if you want results. Success doesn't come out of sheer luck. Maybe sometimes, but rarely will you come across lady luck with a beatific smile.
The hardest part about blogging must be marketing. Think about Article Marketing, guest posting, creating videos, nearly every tactic you use is going to take your time. If you are not willing to put up it would be a wise idea never to quit your day job. Blogging can be a waste of time if you are not willing to work hard and work smart.
Instead of posting excellent articles in your blog that nobody ever gets to read due to lack of traffic, you can take walks and enjoy the great outdoors. Life can be better out there than staring at a computer monitor all day.
It is however not all doom and gloom for bloggers. If you are willing to put in effort and build your blog you can still get far. Learn to learn (It is the best advice you will ever find all over the blogosphere), implement whatever you learn and be patient. Blogging will turn out to be the most rewarding way to make money online.
The successful bloggers out there are few, but it takes you to increase them. Achieving success doesn't have to be that hard, it is however not that easy either. You will always get as much as you deserve. You are therefore the only person who knows whether you can ever make money blogging.
