When I started blogging I was faced with a lot of challenges. You write a good post and get just a few reads and no comments. You feel like you are writing for yourself. You feel all alone.
Sometimes you consider giving up, maybe blogging was not meant for somebody like you. Perhaps the Probloggers out there have something you don't. That was until I met Kelvin. He blogs at Internet Wealth Lab.
He had been blogging for three years before me. We shared stuff we knew about blogging, challenges, achievements and aspirations. We would comment on each others blogs and generally support each other in trying to become better bloggers. Through him I came to see blogging in a new light and I could see myself getting better everyday.
Just like everything else, you need people behind you to succeed as a blogger. So many times we want to give up, but on remembering promises we made to our friends we find that we have something to keep.
You need somebody to appreciate your work every other day. It keeps you inspired. A good friend who reads your posts and leaves useful comments can do you a lot of good.
Friends who blog just like you are more likely to link out to you. They may also do a review of your site. I am sure you could do with all that extra exposure.

When you launch new products your friends can help you market them. At a commission of course. I see John Chow promoting ProBloggers products and vice versa. It works pretty well. Another blogger recommending your products can result in extra sales.
Anybody serious about blogging should definitely consider reaching out to other bloggers and making friends. They are people you need to become a successful blogger.
