After a relationship has broke up, a lot of people realize there are signs their ex might want them back. Occasionally a relationship will end for the wrong reasons; it could have been because of a misunderstanding or some ridiculous argument and people will have second thoughts. Make sure what you are seeing is in fact signs that your ex wants you back and not just trying to take advantage of you. You should be able to differentiate between them if you are paying attention. A big sign your ex may want you back is they are trying to communicate with you on a frequent basis. You are getting more phone calls and text messages and they are really trying to keep in touch. If you're ex keeps telling you about things they are doing that are new for them or different they may be trying to impress you. They want to let you see they are trying to make improvements in their lives to better themselves and hoping it will please you enough to want them back.

If they are upfront with you and tell you they miss you and want you back, how much more blatant can you get. But many people do not take it as a serious sign because they don't believe it, as if it is a trick. If they look you straight in the eye and tell you this, you should consider it as truth.
