When a guy says, "I want my girlfriend back, is it even possible," more often than not, he is looking for someone to tell him that it is. Even though you may want her back badly, and you know that your intentions are good, you do have to realize that there are some situations where it just is not going to happen. There are some times when you just have to cut your losses and move on.
At the same time, there are many situations where it IS possible for you to get your girlfriend back. A lot of it depends on how the relationship ended. If there was a ton of arguing, and things got really heated and nasty, then you may be better off just moving on and trying to find someone else.
If it was pretty good overall, and it broke up amicably or because of just a few, little arguments here and there, then getting her back may be a lot easier than you think. As long as you are treating her as you would any other girl you would want to date, you are not being nasty or acting jealous, or anything like that... you should be able to get her back.
And the easiest way to do this, is to make her feel those same butterflies in her stomach that she did when you first came around. It might sound funny and be a little awkward to go back to that, but it's kind of what you have to do if you want to be able to get back with your ex girlfriend.
