Because of the regrettable current economic climate a lot of persons have been laid off work through no mistake of their own...just a set of shocking conditions...they are right now scratching their heads philosophizing where now? In the back of their brain they have been thinking - "should I set up my own dental surgery business?" But where do you go for guidance like that?
Having your own venture means you are no longer the individual who takes the orders (or shouldn't be); by all means be a decent boss listen to your staff (if you have any), take note of their advice and think about the information they give to you. Now it is your job as the boss to order this expertise and put plans into action..."failing to plan is planning to fail."
This is finally it; you have made the jump and you're running your own business. This is the instance when you need to really focus on what you want for your business and your life. Try to keep the two away from each other as much as possible...this can be extremely demanding for most people in particular if you now work from home a lot. Keep in mind though the main of working for yourself is to improve your life as a whole. Don't let the new business be "A millstone around your neck"...it's there to get you the rewards you have always wanted.
However knowing that you can easily pay your mortgage at the end of the day is great.
For your own personal esteem; envisage the feeling you have compared to being in an everyday occupation or no occupation at all. It's a lot easy going to get out of the sack first light knowing you are building a business for yourself and your immediate family; your not doing it for your boss - who you might not even get on with.
People have varying reasons for becoming an capitalist - we are not the same; and as such you will no doubt like to do things in a more improved way than you have seen shown by other bosses in previous jobs you have had.
Not many people start their own business - most people don't have the nouse. The point is do you have it? Are you going to drive yourself in business as well as in life?
