In your search for ways to make money online, one of the opportunities is that, you can set up a blog and make money online, by writing high quality, unique articles and posting them on your blog.
It is a simple process, but difficult to do on a regular basis. In this article, we discuss some tips for beginners, on how you can make money online by writing articles on your own blog.

Determining the Topic
The first step is to determine what you are passionate about and have good knowledge of. This is very important, because, if you do not have knowledge / interest in something, then you would not be able to sustain it for a long time.
In writing for a blog, one needs to write a lot of articles, each of them providing specific information to the reader. So, choose a topic about which you have ample knowledge and also you are passionate about that topic. Then, in the long run, you can have ample opportunities and ways to make money online.

Starting your Blog
The next step is to start your own blog. You can choose your own domain name and have your own web hosting space Or, as a beginner, you can set up a free blog at many of the free blog hosting sites like blogger etc.

Writing Articles and putting Advertising / doing affiliate marketing on your blog
Once you have set up your blog, then start writing your articles.
When you have sufficient number of articles, around 15-20, you can start advertising in your blog. Some of the advertising options are Google Adsense, Amazon etc. Google adsense is basically contextual advertising, in which, ads which are relevant to your written content are displayed on your blog. Along with Adsense, you can also opt to promote products of amazon Or you can promote products from any other company as their affiliate.

Getting Traffic
Then, the next step is getting visitors to your site and increase online traffic to your blog.
-- For this, one of the ways is to submit your articles to the Article marketing websites. These websites have a lot of visitors, and when these visitors read your article, and then they can come to your blog to read more articles. So, in this way you can increase online traffic for your blog. These vistors can click on the ads which they find to be of their interest. Furthermore depending upon their interest, they may buy products which you are offering on your blog, and thus you have an opportunity to make money online.
-- Another way to increase online traffic for your blog is to comment on other blogs, which are of the same interest as yours. You can get a lot of targeted traffic in this way.
In conclusion :-
Remember, you have to consistently write original and good content articles in order to build a long term readership for your blog. So, as I said at the beginning of this article, the process of writing articles in order to make money online, is a simple process, but difficult to do on a regular basis.
So, if you are able to do the above mentioned process consistently, then in due course of time, you may find an increase in your online traffic and as a result of that you can start to make money online from your blog.
