7 - 11 reasons to expand your mind

It has always been curious how so many spend thousands to expand and develop greater performances from their modes of transport especially their cars and yet hesitate on avenues that will do wonders on the expansion of the mind.

Curiouser and curiouser what what and all that jazz but still the shock to the system when someone suggests investing in a program that may benefit your mental growth while at the same time not hesitating to buy a pack of cigarettes for an exorbitant amount of buckaroos a pack go figure! Did anyone see any cigarette companies go bankrupt lately?

Right off the bat I will tell you that there are no particular group of 7 – 11 ways to expand your mind because firstly there is no such thing as a limit on the potential you have available to you right now to increase and a quick fix of 7 – 11 steps is a sham of shams so why do you want a quick fix? Answer: in this world of fast foods and faster cars and fast people we want or demand to be more precise a speedy answer to elevate our thinking and use of our minds by more than the recognized level of 10%. Although those with above average level of intelligence may be at 11 or 12% but maybe not either and who knows anyway unless they seek the answer.

Imagine you are out somewhere and you sense something like for example you know that if you walk into this particular store you will find the exact outfit you have been dreaming of. Or you are out somewhere and you see someone and as you stare at them they realize someone is staring and look up and catch you or visa versa. This is telepathy at work and one of the facets available to us that we do not give a second thought to developing.

Hindsight is magical and nothing would be done incorrectly if we could do it a second time, but we can by using our powers of telepathy and intuition. Most of us do not listen to that wee voice inside that is drumming away incessantly advising us not to take a particular action or to make a suggested decision and later we regret not listening to our sixth sense.

Some people have mastered this advanced way of thinking and using their intelligence making tons of money giving advice and offering solutions that we could do ourselves if we but took the time to develop our extrasensory perception. There is no earthly reason why anyone should be so oblivious to the world that is awaiting their attention, except laziness and apathy: the nemesis of life.

How many times have you thought about calling someone only to pick up the ringing phone to find this person on the other end? See what I mean? Well what are you waiting for seek and seek some more so you will learn. Socrates says that the life which is unexamined is not worth living!

Memory is not about having the ability to randomly quote the alphabet backwards sideways or upside down, or even to know every single number and address of your contacts. We do not need to be walking encyclopedias, leave that to those who choose to be that way for like circus acts there is a place for them too.

There are three distinct types of memory: a) sensory memory which is the initial 200 - 500 milliseconds after an item is perceived. B) Short term memory allows one to remember items within a short time span say from several seconds to a minute without effort but is limited in its scope. This can be compared to the history on your computer.

c) Long term memory is for storing large capacities of useful and uselsss information and this is where we can fool ourselves into thinking that the better we are at remembering silly things like phone numbers the less stupid we will look in conversations with others when simple things just happen to evade us.

Memory is as important as it is very relevant but why fill it up with nonsensical garbage when we can use it to expand our abilities. We are not computers that need to be programmed with an A to Z of how's and why's but we are thinking individuals created in God's likeness that means we have the abilities to sense auras and feel in depth feelings of loved ones far away like identical twins can and this is not an ability peculiar to twins alone.

There are a myriad of messages zooming all around us in the air in forms of energy that currently evade us because we have not honed our skills to attract them so we understand and benefit from them.

Focus like Graham Bell did or Einstein or the best of all Columbus who refused to give in to the current thinking patterns of his day and thank God he persisted because he was in sync with the universe and he knew there was another bigger picture that the uninitiated did not cultivate their minds so they too would know. This is not a secret found only to the sages of yonder years but a secret is only one if it is kept hidden and not shared and guess what?

The universe says this ability or apparent mystical mystery awaits you like Aladdin's lamp and imagine what you would do if you found that? See you are once again limiting your advances on a discovery of one form when there are a zillion others waiting out there for you to grasp from the air.

Now the question remains: are you Columbus with a vision for a bigger universe, or are you the naysayers who doubted his rationale? I reckon you are another Columbus but this time you will know on what planet you are landing and call it such!

Another appropriate question is this: would you prefer to engage in silly gossip, silly arguments and silly grudges and watching silly soap operas because you are not intelligent enough to know the difference or would you prefer to be involved in the expansion of not only minds but the universe as we know it today because you are intelligent enough to know how.
