Prediabetes is an early symptom for those who potentially suffer from type 2 diabetes. At this stage is marked by the increase in the blood glucose level but still not too high to be classified as permanent diabetic. People with prediabetes have Impaired Fasting Glucose (IFG) ranged from 100 to 125 mg / dL after fasting overnight but lower than 140 to 199 mg/dL, about 2 hours succeeding the glucose tolerance test. Based on research, people with type 2 diabetes will experience the pre-diabetic state before developing into irreversible diabetic.
If pre-diabetic is not resolved entirely, sooner or later it will more likely develop into full blown diabetic. In this condition, sufferers will have a high risk of other deadly diseases such as: heart disease, kidney failure, eye problems and nerve impairment. Type2 diabetes cannot be reversed, though we can prevent it earlier by knowing, managing some risk factor of pre-diabetic and then taking some measures quickly. Here are some common risk factors you should know:
* People who have more than 45 years old
* Descendants of parents with diabetes
* Less physical activity
* Obesity
* Women who have a history of gestational diabetes
People with pre-diabetes sometimes do not experience some obvious symptoms but others go through ones similar to type 2 diabetic. In either way, early detection of pre diabetes symptoms is very significant to take some effective measures earlier so that you could prevent successfully from further developing. Here are some symptoms that are commonly experienced by sufferers
• Blurred vision especially at night
• It's difficult to heal when getting skin infection
• Unusual increase in urination
• Constant excessive thirst
• Feeling hungry no matter how much you eat
• The body feels weak no matter how much you get rest
• Weight gain, hard to lose even do many exercises
