True beauty comes from within,

Sometimes to see, you have to be listening,

This can also help you feel,

Though what we feel, is not always real,

But do not try to change me or another,

Whether you see me as a friend, or a potential lover,

I know who I am, and my time is my own,

Take me as I am, or leave me alone.

My spirit will not be broken ever,

If needs be I'll stand apart forever,

I do no wrong, just living my days,

I cause no harm in my own ways.

Who would have thought, I would get so much grief?

For bringing happiness, understanding and peace,

Always attracting the wrong attention,

Distracting me from my own argumentation,

Creating pain, with frustration,

Maybe more time needed in contemplation,

Among my dreams and constellations,

Why are so many very vicious?

When it is more than conspicuous,

That the world does not need another problem,

Nor is it wise to think you can stop them,

What happens does for a reason,

From year to year,

Season to season,

Sunshine brings what it does,

Though the lessons we learn, are not always enough,

In times of suffering and when it's tough.

Will I really need another's love?

A shoulder to cry on,

To keep me strong,

When I have what it takes not to worry of such things,

So I will continue by myself, and embrace what nature brings,

So on my path I'll continue to travel,

As the clock winds round and time unravels,

No, I won't think that life is such a mystery,

When I'm moving forward, wiser from history,

So make your choice, and make it wisely,

As I'll use my voice with, words precisely.
