Paintball is an intensive sports game that requires lots of equipments to have a successful game. Since the 1980s the sport has created different parts and accessories to ensure that you are safe while having fun.
The most basic equipment that any player should have is the paintball marker. There are so many paintball guns making the option almost endless but they are usually classified according to their propellants. Carbon dioxide (CO2) and pressurized air (N2) types are the propellants to make the paintball marker shoot paintball.
However, most of the paintball markers nowadays use pressurized air because of its price and stability under different conditions. You can have your own propellants for CO2 and N2. At the same time, most of the paintball areas offer refills for both CO2 and N2.
Aside from paintball guns, it is also required to have a good loader or hopper. Think of these like a barrel to a regular gun. There are two types of loaders: gravity and agitated loaders. If you have enough budget, do get an agitated loader. They require additional power so that it could be loaded in the paintball gun but will work in any condition and position.
Gravity hoppers are cheaper but when you load the paintball in the hopper and doesn't use it for a very long time, the paintball will dry out and jam the paintball gun altogether.
Safety should also be considered in every paintball game. Although paintball looks harmless, the guns are now optimized to fire at a very powerful range that a hit on bare skin will hurt. While playing be sure to have paintball equipment like goggles designed for the paintball game. For clothing, it's important that you wear one with minimal zippers.
Zippers could be dangerous since you'll be rolling around a lot. Last but not the least; protect yourself and others from unnecessary firing by purchasing barrel covers which practically prevents the paintball gun from firing.
