1. Watch Your Hands - I know this sounds over simplistic, but it's none the less true. If you want to catch more fish, you need to be aware of the fact that most fish have very sensitive senses of smell and can detect unnatural odors on whatever bait you're using. This is why paying attention to your hands (because these unnatural odors will transfer to your bait) is so important. For example if you smoke or spill a little gas on your hands when fueling your car, these scents will transfer to whatever you touch, including your fishing lure/bait.
