Last Sunday my uncle came to meet me. He is now very feeble, thin and battered, panting while speaking. I could but hide tears to see that frail man who in my childhood days was my idol for his adventurous spirit, who frequently carried me on his shoulders wandering in the woods and forests in quest of adventure. We were then chained with a shackle of familial bond.We were a united family and everybody heaved sigh to see our attachment to each other. Breach was never predicted or foreseen. But the Omniscient smiled from somewhere.Centering round trivial issues the well knit family were broken to pieces and everybody became the eye sore of one another the Way to Happiness collapsed. Only the fragrance of Sweet Reminiscences Pervades.
Since time immemorial it has been noted that a family is the first basic stage where the family men play their parts in different manners. From this togetherness of dear ones comes the concept of a society. Among every tribe, caste, religion, section there is an importance of family ties. Even among the beasts the love of family is noted. Woe to us! With the rapid growth of civilization and so called mundane development the families are torn to pieces and the nucleus families are formed out of hatred and ill- feelings. Thus Target Happiness is nothing but a dream.Only Sweet Reminiscences are left behind to relish.
The families that lived together once, fought for the common cause, used to connoisseur the total Happiness together, cared for the welfare of each other are gradually leading towards oblivion. There is no Happiness in leading a desolate life detached from the dear ones.Sheer helplessness pricks hard all the time.Way to Happiness remains nothing but a dream.Dear ones bound with the ties of blood fight with each other for next to nothing. The glory of the family never sails elegantly on the water of life.Target happiness remains elusive all the while.Only Reminiscences Pervades.
