Before you start to acquire parts for your personal computer, you should ask yourself what you will be using the computer for. This is what will let you know which hardware that is needed to complete your task. Let's say that someone is more interested in typing or word processing, they won't require a computer with amazing graphics or sound capabilities. A computer user who stores and plays a lot of music will require a lot of hard disk space and strong speakers as opposed to someone who uses it primarily to type up documents.

What are your expenses?

Much of this is determined by how much money you can spend. You get what you pay for in the world of computers; if you want a long-lasting computer, you will pay more. With this method it is easier to choose brands that are high quality and last long.
