First off I'll come right out and tell you that I make and sell premium millet hull pillows. No doubt I also sleep on my pillows. My millet hull pillows are the most natural and best supportive pillows available and I would never go back to buckwheat, foam or feathers! I've already tried those pillows and they just are not as good.
Please take a look at my beautiful, organic, natural millet hull pillows!
Ok, I'll get specific... After awaking with a cricketty, nasty sore neck (Take the day off of work! Call in sick!) and feeling as though you are not sleeping on a supportive pillow, I'll bet a lot of you have wondered, "What is the best supportive pillow and shouldn't it also be a natural pillow and an organic pillow too?" Yes, people are starting to understand that natural pillows are better. Synthetic foam pillows do not conform to your neck to create a mold. They compress and want to "spring back". Foam is TOTALLY UNNATURAL and creates knots! I know because I'm a massage therapist and work on necks that sleep on crappy pillows! (Foam is made of petroleum! Freaking oil!) Also, you cannot adjust the height of a foam pillow. This is the key to having a supportive pillow! With a millet hull pillow you can lay it flat for a 2 inch supportive pillow while sleeping on your back. You can also roll it and and "stack it" to create 10 inches of support and all heights in between! My millet hull pillows are the best natural, organic, supportive pillow on Earth!
They are also beginning to get that organic pillows, like organic food is better because it is not full of dangerous pesticides that really do affect us and our health.
Buckwheat hull pillows are very supportive but too hard for heads and necks. Heads and neck are more sensitive that other parts of your body. Slap your husband, wife or boss a bit and you'll see! They'll say, "what'd ya do that for?" lol A great supportive pillow also needs to be soft and movable as well as organic! Buckwheat hulls are better for sitting on when you are clothed. I make great buckwheat hull zafu sitting cushions. I also make wonderful back supports using buckwheat hulls. Please see my site! Once again, the most comfortable pillows... the best natural pillows, the best organic pillows AND the best supportive pillows are millet hull pillows.
Feathers suck! lol. They poke through the fabric into your neck. When I was a kid I used a feather pillow. At school I always had feathers stuck in my neck. lol! Seriously though, in time they always lost thier ability to sit up and support. Even new they really don't support good at all. They don't sit up at the height that you need and change heights easily. To create a feather pillow, you have to kill a bunch of ducks and pull all the feathers off of em. Ouch! Yuk! On the other hand, millet is a grain that is healthy and requires no killing of animals. No blood. No guns. The millet hulls have to be removed from the millet for you to eat the millet anyway! It's a totally natural resource and it makes the best organic, natural, supportive pillow on Earth...no...in the universe!
Millet hull pillows stay supportive and last for many years. If you use an organic material that is really strong like linen, a good natural, millet hull organic, supportive pillow will last you at least 10 years! You would go through five or more foam pillows in that time.
So, I promise you that if you buy one of my all natural, organic, supportive pillows you will be so freaking happy! Just do it!
