Crash diets are thought of as great ways to lose weight quickly, but people don't realize how bad it is for their bodies. The human body is like an engine. So that it functions right, it needs fuel. And that fuel is our food. Of course, over eating can lead to fattening up the body and this can make it perform slower and it can also lead to all sorts of diseases in the long run. So, what's the most effective and safe way to lose weight? These guidelines should be followed so that you can lose weight better.

Don't overeat - You don't have to give up anything. Anything can be eaten as long as the portions are small. Is that chocolate cake just too tempting? Instead of eating a whole slice, just eat half. Eating a smaller portion will give your body what it needs to work well. So you aren't adding any fat to your body, but you're actually losing fat, and that is the way to lose weight. This is probably the safest way to lose weight.

Slow down the exercise - Losing weight is not all about doing it fast. The whole point of working out is to sweat and burn off fat. You sweat even when your exercise isn't as rigorous. Concentrate on the parts of the body that really need to be rid of sweat. It will really benefit your body if you do some slow exercises like Yoga or Pilates. Even though you aren't moving fast in these, the muscles are targeted in such a way that they effectively burn fat. Do not stress yourself out by pushing your body to the limit.

Water is important - Water is the easiest, best thing to help you burn fat. Sweat is important while working out and if you don't drink enough water, you won't be burning fat very well. Drink at least 8 to 10 glasses a day.
