Need A Cure For Sweating Problem? by Ricky Wallick

Excessive sweating can decrease a sufferer's quality of life, making them feel at a loss of control. Their sweating becomes a condition that can occur even when their body does not require any temperature regulation. Because the sufferers know that they may start sweating at any time, they get nervous and anxious easily. This behavior usually aggravates their sweating problem further.

Many other factors can result in a sweating problem. Some examples include excessive consumption of caffeine-rich food like nicotine and coffee. The following paragraphs will discuss some possible cures for a sweating problem.

Losing weight has helped some people improve their sweating condition. Excessive sweating can indeed be caused by obesity, although most cases of excessive sweating are not a result of obesity.

Oral medications have been used with some success, although it is difficult to tolerate the drowsiness and dry mouth condition that they cause. Another class of drugs called beta blockers have also been tested, although they are not as effective. Some examples of oral medications are Ditropan and Robinul. These drugs can certainly work, but always make sure you understand all the side effects associated with them before consumption.

Aluminum chloride solutions like Drysol and Maxim are a common solution to a sweating problem. They can be found in most antiperspirants, and are usually effective in treating mild sweating cases. A very high concentration of aluminum chloride is necessary to treat more severe cases of sweating, although high concentrations can potentially cause skin irritation. Also, the solution is usually not effective for palmar (hand) and plantar (foot) excessive sweating. It is also not suitable for some forms of excessive sweating, like palmar and feet hyperhidrosis.

Surgery is a quick cure for a sweating problem. It involves cutting or burning of relevant sympathetic nerves to disable their ability to transmit signals. Surgery also has a major side effect, which is compensatory sweating. This refers to sweating experienced in other areas of the body.

Others who have tried Botulinum type A injections have claimed that they are effective and worth it. This is a treatment method that is relatively high cost, and needs to be repeated typically every 4 to 9 months. It can also be very painful, although this can be dealt with by anesthesia.

Iontophoresis is a cure for sweating problem that some people have gotten results, with little or no side effects. This method is usually used for treating hand and feet sweating. Recently, a device has been created for this method to work for armpit sweating as well. Iontophoresis works by passing a current through the affected sweating area, while the affected area is immersed in a mineral solution. As the current passes through, the minerals in the solution clog up the sweat glands, preventing them from releasing sweat onto the skin surface.

If you have a sweating problem, you might want to try a method that I have used successfully. It is a natural and affordable method that involves using readily available products at home that are applied every morning and night. You can find out more about his method by following the link below.

You may also be sweating due to high levels of stress and anxiety. Several people have reported success with meditation and relaxation techniques like yoga. Even hypnosis has been recommended to treat sweating, although these methods usually have had limited success because most sweating problems are medical conditions.
