EFT Tapping Suggestions For Losing Weight For The Right Reasons

If you are trying to lose weight, slimming, or dieting, you may have heard this before: You need to lose the weight for the right reasons. Otherwise, it can go back on. But with the right motivation, you can stick to it with relative ease.
Here are some responses to why people want to lose weight. I have put them in two sections: Healthy and Suspect.
Healthy: "I realised I will not be able to play with my grandchild, and may not even live long enough to see him grow up"; "I am sick and tired of buying over-priced unattractive clothes in the few over-sized shops available."; "I huff and puff when I walk"; "I want to do this journey for me, for my own wellbeing and personal satisfaction"; "My feet hurt with the weight", "My back hurts all the time"; "I want to go hiking with the family and not feel like my heart will stop any minute"; "My blood pressure is to high"; "I have just been diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes".
Suspect: "I want to look normal and fit in"; "I'm a freak in my fat ugly body"; "When I lose weight, I will be beautiful/handsome/attractive/desirable"; "To attract more friends"; "To get a boyfriend/girlfriend/spouse"; "To be accepted".
In the Suspect list, there are underlying issues that may make you reach out for comfort, and that comfort may be in the form of food. Here is the list as I understand from what you said above:
* I feel like a freak
* I am not beautiful
* I feel lonely without as many friends as I want
* I feel lonely/rejected by potential/existing lovers
Just reading this may make the average overweight person reach for that comforting extra portion or snack. So, here are a few tapping suggestions for you. They are pretty heavy, so take your time and do them one at a time. Start each one by asking yourself on a scale of 10-0, how true the statement is or how bad you feel about it, where 10 is the worst and 0 is neutral. Then start the EFT.
Remember a time when you were treated or felt like a freak. Maybe in childhood by a "friend" or relative, in a party, by a "lover", etc. Who was it? What did they do or say to make you feel like a freak? Or maybe a time when you did not fit in, such as in a bar, where all your friends got chatted up and you were ignored. Tap as follows...
Setup on Karate Chop:
"Even though this event/person makes me feel like a freak, I am willing to accept myself just as I am, even when I don't mean it, and that's OK"
Reminder on all the other points:
"This event/person that makes me feel like a freak"
(substitute the event or the name of the person above, as appropriate).
Ask yourself how lonely you feel, on a scale of 10-0. Tap, for as many days or weeks as it takes, till you feel as near as possible to zero. We can feel lonely on our own or in company. Even if you just bring it down from a 9 to a 7 out of 10, that is good. Tap as follows...
Setup on Karate Chop:
"Even though I feel this loneliness, I am willing to accept myself just as I am, even when I don't mean it, and that's OK"
Reminder on all the other points:
"This loneliness"
And every day, tap this positive affirmation on all the points without numbers, either first thing in the morning as you are on the toilet/in the shower or last thing at night just as you are about to go to bed, whichever works better for you. "I am willing to start thinking that I am beautiful, no matter what my weight/size is, even if I am lying to myself, I am willing to pretend to myself that I am beautiful/handsome/attractive anyway" - just substitute your own words that fit best with what you want to achieve.
