Time and again your dentist must have told you about some proper dental habits which ensures that you do not have bad breath. These habits include: Use of Floss, Mouthwash and brushing teeth thrice in a day, are very common and in fact a must for everyone, but there are other treatments as well that mask your bad breath or Halitosis. 3. Yogurt:
Yogurt has probiotics which helps fighting the bacteria causing bad odor. Probiotics is a bacterium as well but it can fight odor causing bacteria.
4. Apples and Pears:
Saliva is essential for maintaining the hygiene inside the mouth. It is also essential in digesting food. Fruits have enzymes that help in producing more saliva. It is also being said that if your mouth produces more saliva, your gums will be healthy.
5. Oranges, Melons and Berries:
Rich in vitamin C, these fruits have the tendency to fight with gum diseases and gingiva which causes bad breath. Vitamin C is also helpful in keeping bacteria away from our mouth and protecting our teeth which eventually leads to healthy gums and mouth.
6. Almonds:
Almonds have always been known to be the source for improving memory but that's not all they are known for. Just like Fruits and Vegetables, Almonds have the same effect on teeth. Constant usage of Almonds has proved to keep odor-causing bacteria away.
