7 Tips For Mlm Lead Generation

We all know that in order to have a thriving home based business that we have to have a constant flow of hungry, quality leads. I mean you could absolutely stink at everything else that you do in your business but the simple truth is, if you are generating more leads than you have time for, the checks will keep rolling in. They are the backbone, the lifeline of your Network Marketing business. If you are not generating leads every day in some way, your business is slowly dying.

So here are a few MLM Lead Generation Tips:

1) First of all, you want to establish who your target market is when you are generating leads. Let me give you a little hint. It's not Uncle Stan and Aunt Sally! Forget about the list of your friends and family and cold calling and some of the other ineffective marketing techniques that are still being taught by uplines stuck in the 20th century. Your target market is people already involved in or looking to get into Network Marketing and starting a home based business.

2) No matter what marketing strategies that you are implementing to generate leads over the internet, you want to be providing good, quality content that is useful information to your target market. No one wants to be hounded with useless information and business opportunities. Going around posting links to your company replicated website IS NOT marketing. That's called spamming. AND IT DOESN"T WORK! If it did work, we would all be multi-gazillionaires. Learn real marketing strategies, educate yourself, and then give out your information, knowledge and tips without expecting anything in return. Even if the people you are helping never decide to do business with you, you are still increasing your credibility and building an online presence.

3) Be unique and stand out. 95% of Network MArketing entrepreneurs are struggling. Learn what it is that successful internet marketers are doing to generate leads online and study it with a passion. Then keep on studying and never stop. A true professionals education never stops. Be yourself and add your own personality. People join people and they can tell when you are being fake.

4) Stay consistent in your marketing efforts. If you are trying to lose weight and you diet for one week and don't lose any weight, do you give up? Leads generation is no different. Don't place 1 ad, or do a couple videos, or write a few articles and the leads don't pile up and you decide that online marketing doesn't work. Place multiple ads, videos or articles (or whatever your marketing strategy of choice is) with multiple methods and don't stop until you find out what works.

5) You HAVE TO capture your visitors information in order for them to actually become a lead. This is usually done with a web form where they leave you their name, email and phone number so you can start building a trusting relationship with them. If your visitors are coming to your website and you do not have something to capture their information then you are leaving massive amounts of money on the table.

6) Make sure that your content is relative to where you are posting it at. When you open a copy of Men's Health magazine what kind of ads do you see? I can guarantee you they're not from Burger King. The same goes for internet marketing and generating leads.

7) Make sure you PICK UP THE PHONE and connect with your leads. They have given you their permission to contact them by giving you their information so why wouldn't you do it? You have to find out how you can help them and start to build a trusting relationship. Like anything else, the more you do this, the better you get at it.
