It’s a given that Disney World has a lot to offer both children and adults alike. But when it comes time to take that long-awaited trip to one of the best vacation spots in the world, where will you stay, in a Disney hotel or a motel outside the gates a ways? Do your homework and check out those newspapers and the display easels because staying in a Disney World resort has both pros and cons, and usually, it’s about price.

The Pros:

--If you stay in a Disney World hotel you don’t have to worry about parking or bringing your luggage, there are hotel representatives who do that for you. Transportation is also free to and from the main amusement parks which is a huge plus. You can take the bus, boat, or monorail right from the hotel.

--There is added value because if you stay at a Disney hotel you have the special privilege of entering the theme park one hour earlier than everyone else, and staying an extra three hours after close.

--The Hotel staff is willing to watch your kids if you are looking for a romantic dinner with just the adults.

--During especially crowded seasons, anyone staying in a Disney hotel will get preference over general park visitors.

The Cons:

--Despite the amazing Disney hotel amenities you will be offered, there are many places just outside the park that are much cheaper to stay at.

--Although there is a free shuttle expense included in all of these hotels, you cannot go anywhere else without having to dish out more dollars to hail a taxi, take the bus, or rent a car. Eventually, it will cost you more if you visit all the other wonderful places like Sea World and Epcot.

--The room rates are expensive yes, but so are the hotel restaurants.

When it all comes down to the final tally, it’s really all about money. Would you rather pay for convenience? Or do you prefer to save your bank and walk a few extra miles? Either way, Disney World is an unforgettable place that makes your dreams come true no matter what hotel you stay at.
