We must stop violence in Palestine, but how? Can there ever be peace in that region? Well one historian at the Online Think Tank, thinks not. I tend to agree with him, both judging from the present period, prospects of future periods and the historical record of past periods as well.
Some say that the Palestinians cannot make up their minds, they say they want peace and cannot even get along with themselves and certainly not their next door neighbors, which many of the have sworn to hate. The only thing that binds the Palestinians together seems to be hate for Israel and Jews.
If that hate ever stops one has to wonder if their society's identity will dissolve and even further chaos will ensue. History then will repeat and they will destroy themselves, such a shame for it is a huge population base living in that area now and it is always growing. Without hate they have no glue to build their civilization. Is this really a viable group or population to become a country that will be respected around the world?
It is hard to respect a group of people that is constantly lobbing rockets into its neighboring country's backyard or one that continually is voting an International Terrorist Organization into power and high level politics. Indeed, it is hard to support a future nation that is continually attacking their own people and then blaming all their problems and civil unrest on the Jews when they are the ones killing each other.
After all the World Leaders do not respect the leadership in Darfur or other such nations, perhaps everyone involved on all sides needs to buy giant mirrors and look into them and decide where they can improve?
