Diet and obesity can also feature in what causes female infertility. When a person lacks certain aspects of a healthy diet, it can affect ovum production as well as other vital organs in the body. Malnutrition is one of the reasons why a woman may have irregular menstruation which may be the cause of infertility in a woman. Nutrition is needed to facilitate bodily functions which include the production of egg cells for fertilization. With malnutrition, the woman does not necessarily need to be so thin to not be able to conceive, she just might lack certain substances to produce a normal egg cell.
Female infertility has different causes, many of which are quite easy to remedy and cure. Hormones cause female infertility and the treatment for this is to balance out the hormone sin the woman's body. Blockages can be easily remedied through surgical procedures.
