Why Bother To Start A Think Tank And What Do You Do Once It Is Started?

As the founder of the Online Think Tank many people ask me how is it possible to grow a Think Tank large enough to help in all the problems mankind is challenged by? Well, the simple answer is it will not be easy and the interesting thing is there sure is a lot of job security in Think Tanks that can really solve the follies of mankind, you see humans seem to pride themselves in messing stuff up, therefore there will always be problems to solve. On potential think tank candidate asks:

How do we expand the participation of all mankind to add to the shared information pools of " what will tomorrow's world be like?"

The participation of all mankind for an online think tank discussion cannot be expanded presently due to the lack of individual responsibility. This is evident from the online forums and catfights on the Internet. Net-centric participation works, if controlled and the applicants are carefully screened; for instance if you form a local group you could grow it as large as you wanted, as long as you kept control and monitored behavior.

Sharing information is now happening in our Online Think Tank in many ways. One great thing about the internet that we have found is that by putting up information, how to eBooks, research, etc. we can give out information and others in turn give us new information to put up. Tomorrow's world will be what ever we make of it, if we have the dedication to take the bull by the horns and make it so. How would you set up a local Think Tank if you could?
