Transporting Supplies and Equipment is a Huge Challenge for Exploration Teams

Whether over land or sea, it has always been challenging for exploration teams to transport all their gear, supplies and equipment. It does not matter if they are going across a desert, to the North Pole, across an ocean or far into the Earth. New transportation devices need to be developed for exploration on Earth and in space to other worlds. Recently, at the Online Think Tank as this line of thought was getting going an outsider stated:

I like these idea I will have to think more... explain more your idea about transporting the essentials for exploration.

Well you have heard of the stories of Lewis and Clark and others around the world. Often they must do a combination of living off the land and bringing what they need. You have also heard of Exo-Skeletons. Well, I do some hiking, running, biking, etc. and think better designs are still needed.

Imagine trying to stay agile, with a huge load you are carrying. You have to bring the supplies to stay alive, just in case, but need to be a minimalist and weight matters. A seasoned athlete can travel 50 miles per day with very little load for days on end, but every 10 pounds you add subtracts and water weighs 8 lbs per gallon and you need 1 gallon per day and when the hear is above 105, your abilities decrease drastically.

How did the Indians do it before transportation or the Spaniards who sailed the oceans, what about the famous Chinese Treasure Fleet? Anyway, as we were thinking on this topic we found some cool stuff already being done and some awesome new technologies on the market;

Still the Online Think Tank thinks new designs need to be considered for rough terrain and heat while traveling on two-feet. What are your thoughts, dare to explore.
