Affiliates Catch the Wave.

by Lance Mock

Counting Mike Filsaime, I had at least 10 other marketers write to me about 'Butterfly Marketing.' They were really jumping on the band wagon.

Was it because of Mike's incredible marketing tactics? Absolutely yes, 100%, but this isn't just a 100% answer. There is a lot more to it if we look at it.

The second 100% takes a little looking at how the marketing endeavors of Mike's affiliates went. I didn't get a single offer where an affiliate was just offering 'Butterfly Marketing' by itself. People were throwing everything into the package except their first born.

I have never seen anything like it, but talk about wise marketing. Now they could ride the wave that Mike created and make it even more appealing to the potential customer.

So they end up getting more sales from people who were riding the fence by tipping them with their added bonuses.

Now on top of the money they make, they have created a new list of people who really seem to have pretty large pockets for buying good marketing material.

This can mean many $1000's per year. Imagine if you only have a list of 10 or 15 people who will buy high priced top quality marketing products. And you make them one big expensive offer per month and only ½ buy each month. An extra 2 to 5 thousand dollars per month would kind of come in handy for most of us. :-)

Upon further investigation, I realized that some of these affiliates were offering bonus packages that weren't even theirs. And I know that they were not resale rights products.

The first thought that ran through my mind is 'These guys are boot leggers,' but no, that's not it. These guys are actually very professional.

So here is what I concluded. A couple of marketers would get together to do a promo. I don't know the logistics of how they set this up, as in whether it would be a split or what, but by doing this they could make those huge bonus offers and perhaps snag people who would have bought from someone else.

Even if the person who went in with the affiliate got no part of the cash, they could offer a product for free and get the names of that person's list, and he, too, could share the list of the big buyers. This is true Joint Venturing at its best.

My hat is off to these ingenious guys and gals. I wish I had thought of it. :-)

I can tell you I will try not to miss the boat next time it comes around, and the really cool thing about the net is that the boat will come around again and it won't be long.

In my next article we are going to give our best shot at Trying to figure out what 'Butterfly Marketing' is.
