Developing your Website's Traffic by Jaymes Doolan Over the past few years, Link development on the whole has slowly become an obsolete form of search engine optimization, as the major search engines of today simply disregard people's attempts at shoddy linkbaiting on directory listings with endless amounts of links which are not relevant to their own website.
These days if you want to get noticed, you have to not expect to fool major search engines into thinking that your website has higher value than others that are trying to achieve the exact same goals as you are. No, instead you must learn to develop your traffic, seeking out real human beings that will actually care about the content that you produce. Aim for obtaining real traffic and not just backlinks. Stop aiming for the affections of a mathematical computation and aim for commendations from breathing individuals. Before you do this however, I recommend you email the webmaster beforehand to let them know that you are linking them with your brand new article. Hopefully, they will be more than happy to provide a link to your article if it is in the boundaries of what I have discussed. Give it a try, more than definitely you will ascertain new friendships with other bloggers or webmasters interested in similar topics to you and building strong, healthy relationships is a major key to your website's success.
