The recent 2010 common wealth games had to face a lot of controversies. The event never looked like to begin in the manner it was expected to be. The cwg which is to be held in Delhi, India this time was just 2 months away from the opening ceremony but nothing seems to be in order yet. With the growing amount of corruption, the possibility of the event to take place was in doubt. Suresh kalmadi the chairmen of the cwg games in India was accused on various charges. It was even said that he was utilizing the money for his own personal expenses. He was wasting money in buying equipments at a cost which one would never imagine.  As per the sources he was not buying the treadmills but was renting it for 7 lakh per treadmill and which was only for 45 days. Likewise, he was buying chair, refrigerators at higher costs. Suresh kalmadi is been referred as the main villain in this controversy. He used a lot of money for his personal expenses. The government too doesn't seem to do anything for the betterment of the event. This is a national issue which should have been taken seriously but no one seems to take up an action. All of them including the media was only looking for bringing up the culprit but never realized that the pride of the nation was at risk. On one hand. It won't be fair enough only to point out Suresh kalmadi been responsible for the whole cause but there are even more people who were involved in this act. Many issues have come up like the athletes of different countries were not happy with the infrastructure. Most of them found holes on the ceilings and many of them felt uncomfortable for various reasons. The Supreme Court has slammed the government and asked for immediate actions. The cleanliness has also been an issue in this cwg event. The BJP and the NDA have found an excuse to catch hold of congress as Suresh kalmadi is the congress MP but they didn't had a mindset of bringing some improvements in the situation. Sports minister MS GILL and Delhi government have also been asked for explanations.

After a period of negatives, some positives have come up finally. The operation salvage on war footing was done. Serious work started on the cleanliness part as well. PM's effort started to get more visible. The IOC chief applauded India's effort to bring up some positives. There had been some change in the situation where the athletes from different nation have shown interest in coming back and participating. The event has started and is been going on. After a lot of effort and hard work the event was held in a normal way. Things may have gone the right way in the last few days but one shouldn't expect it to be the same every time. Remember, well begin is half done. So, never keep things for the last moment. Try to cut down your work in the initial stages which would not only help you to just complete your activity but will help you to finish it in an efficient manner. This theory not only counts for the cwg event but for the day to day normal things as well Things happened in the past, might happen in the future but as a responsible person we all have certain commitments towards which we should deliver.
