If you're interested in learning to speak French, then here's a few tips which will help you learn faster.

Buy a good learn French audio CD that you can listen to whilst you are in your car. It is a fun way to learn French and you know it can get boring in whilst you are driving somewhere.

Label everything in your house in French with sticky notes or magnets. labeling things in your house will help to learn and remember the French words.

Have a French day of the week. Do everything in that day, doesn’t matter which day it is, just as long as everything you say or write is in French. Also it is a fun way to learn French.

Take a holiday to France and talk to the locals. This will help you to pick up the French language faster because you can listen to how they pronounce words and get a real feel for the French language.

Buy a good French/English dictionary. Purchasing a good French/English dictionary will help you if you forget how to say something or a French word. Keep it by your side because it will come in handy.

Read French magazines, books and comics. Reading French magazines, books and comics will help you to recognize the words when they are written down on paper. You can also use a French/English dictionary just in case you don’t recognize the word, you can look it up.

Watch films in French will help you to pronounce French words properly and clearly.

Flash cards are a great way to help you with remembering the French language. Get a family member to help you with this. They can hold up a card with a picture of something on the front and the French word for it on the back, you have to say what it is in French and your family member tells you whether you were right or not. You can change it, so that they show you the French word and you have to say what it is in English.
