I have an Aspire One and I would like longer battery life, so I get it.
The large, as the other reviewer said adds weight / points back. I'm not angry. The sides are flush with the rest of the laptop.
But seriously, it was UL (again, not only the battery supplied with my Acer computer) as opposed to the old baterie for my HP laptop. It is FCC and CE CE, but obviously not necessarily guarantee against failure of the product. It should be fine if they do not build a high quality heavy duty plastic and is hot. I am not an expert on computer security, but I am not affected as it was before the purchase.
According to the information on the back of the battery, it takes little more than 73-watt-hours, which remains below the 100-Watt-hour point where things are a little insecure when you get to fly. I traveled with him once so far and there is no problem.
Thus, these concerns aside, a large battery. Usually 6:30 hours with WiFi and I use it occasionally for a few more months. I just have not tried a DVD movie using the entire battery. However, the battery meter to remove it will take about 4 hours if my powered USB DVD player with a dustbin and a DVD ( bar indicates the battery is 6 hours) - I do not remember what but I just don 'have to give the need to test this reality.
This is a big battery and a good deal! I urge anyone who has an Acer Aspire One Netbook.
