Some people make us tense. Others we find ourselves avoiding. Still others we expend considerable energy trying to change or appease. None of these responses is satisfactory. As soon as we lose control of a business relationship, we also lose the sale that may have resulted. Everyone in the hospitality industry needs to know how to work effectively with difficult people.
