It will only trim the amount that the ookletmaker will allow. So if someone asks "will it trim a 300 page booklet?" the answer would be no because the Sprint 5000 will only handle a 22 sheets which could potentially be an 88 page booklet or on the Sprint 3000 a 25 sheets which could potentially be a 100 page booklet. To set up the trimmer to the Sprint, the side frames on the bookletmaker would have to be removed and the conveyor belt taken off and added to the end of the trimmer for the trimmed booklets to exit the machine.

The bookletmaker would take up to 22 sheets, jog them square, staple in the center and fold them in half. * If the trimmer was attached it would then feed that folded booklet to the trimmer to face trim the edge of the open end of the book not the sides.
