Outer Appearance
The new Nokia N97 Mini Black possesses a high end touch screen as well as a QWERTY keypad at a slide open position. When the phone is in a slide open position it looks like a mini laptop and its features also make it a mini computer as well. There is a 3.2 inches QVGA touch screen on the phone that supports 16.7 million colors at 640 x 360 pixels resolution. Proximity sensor for auto turn-off, accelerometer sensor for auto-rotate and handwriting recognition – features like this make the display of the phone even better.This compact smartphone measures only 1.42cm deep, 5.25cm wide and 11.3cm tall when in its slide closed position & with the fitted battery this handset weighs 138 grams.

The Nokia N97 Mini Black is a really cool gadget as it runs on Symbian v9.4 operating system and is also supported by Series 60 rel. 5 software. 3G HSDPA, Bluetooth v2.0 with A2DP, WLAN Wi-Fi UPnP Support, Micro USB, EDGE and GPRS – all there technologies ensure the users that they can share data to and fro with other devices without any hassle. WAP 2.0, X-HTML, HTML are the web browsers presented on the phone while the RSS feeds feature enhances its credibility to the users. The Nokia N97 Mini Black supports Word, Excel, PowerPoint and PDF files on it as they can be viewed on the handset by using the Document Viewer attribute.The GPS navigation system comes with A-GPS receiver and moreover there is Nokia Maps application so navigating through unknown routes is quite easy.
