Samsung S3550 Shark 3 - a lot of phone at a small price
A smooth design and affordable price, those are the main features of the Samsung S5550 Shark 3 mobile phone. The Samsung S3550 Shark 3 is a good looking mobile phone, which falls in the so called slider category, with a smooth black metallic design. It is a light and practically designed phone with dimensions of 95.8 x 45.8 x 14.4 mm. and weighs 79 grams. The fabulous 2.0" TFT screen supports 256,000 hues at a 240 x 320 pixels resolution.
The Shark 3 carries all the necessary features, and comes equipped with 2G network capabilities, Bluetooth and GPRS, to name a few. The phone is WAP compatible and supports xHTML, HTML. The Samsung S5550 Shark 3 phone lacks 3G, WLAN and GPS. Internally the Samsung S5550 Shark 3 is capable of storing approximately 35 Mbytes, which can be expanded using a micro SD card, up to 8GB. The phone is equipped with a Li-Ion 800 battery, which delivers up to 7.5 hours of talk time and up to 430 hours in standby mode.
The built in camera of the Samsung S3550 Shark 3 is nothing extraordinary. It is a regular 2 megapixel camera, which is very common for this type of cell phone. The camera is capable of resolutions up to 1600 x 1200 pixels and comes with an auto focus among other features.
The Samsung Shark 3 has a reputation for its music and video playing capabilities, and supports many different formats, like MP3, WMA, WAV, and eAAC+. The video playback capabilities of the S3550 are also available, supporting MP4, WMV, H.264, and H.263. The phone also comes with a built in FM radio that is equipped with RDS functionality. Though equipped with a rather basic set of features, the Samsung S3550 Shark 3 is an attractive mobile phone for its price.
