Samsung Tocco Ultra is 2G as well as 3G set; its 2G network is supported for GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 and the 3G network with HSDPA 900 / 2100. The distinction in this aspect in Samsung Tocco Lite is its being a 2G network set with GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900. Tocco Ultra sports 2.8 inches AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with resolution of 240 x 400 pixels and capable of analyzing 16 m colours. In comparison, Tocco Lite goes for 3.0 inches TFT resistive touchscreen of 240 x 400 pixels resolution capable of analysing 256K colors. The other comparative display differences are provision of Accelerometer sensor, Proximity sensor for auto turn-off and Scratch-resistant surface of the display in Samsung Tocco Ultra. In contrast, Tocco Lite screen features Handwriting recognition and Smart unlock with Accelerometer sensor.
Tocco Ultra and Tocco Lite both are Speakerphones with downloadable polyphonic, MP3, WAV ringtones, but the latter model features DNSe. The Phonebook of Tocco Ultra holds 2000 entries with Photo call and Photo Contact. In this sphere, Tocco Lite has a lesser capacity of Phonebook and hosts Photo Contact feature. The internal memory of Samsung Tocco Ultra is 80 MB and expandable up to 16GB using microSD. In comparison, the internal memory of Samsung Tocco Lite is 50 MB, but has equal expandability like the former.
For data transfer, both the sets are equally enabled with GPRS Class 12 and EDGE Class 12. Bluetooth v2.1 with A2DP and USB v2.0 are the common features of data transfer in both the sets. Samsung Tocco Ultra is equipped with the primary camera of 8 MP with 3264x2448 pixels resolution, autofocus and LED flash. Additional features are Geo-tagging, face and smile detection, image stabilization and wide dynamic range. Comparatively, Samsung Tocco Lite features the primary camera of 3.15 MP with 2048x1536 pixels resolution and features Smile detection.
