The New Year Has Long Since Gone, What About Your Resolutions? by Thomas Cummins

If you believe you can, you probably can.
If you believe you won't, you most assuredly won't.
Belief is the ignition switch that gets you off the launching pad.
Denis Waitley

Part of the problem with resolutions is we are not really serious about them when we make them. We think we want to succeed but what stops us and prevents us from making new resolutions every day of the year. Time stops for no one is a cliche used to remind us to seize the day and stop procrastinating. Right now I am placing a challenge with you to ask yourself: 'what is my true purpose?' Take a pen and paper and write it down and then ask yourself are you living that purpose to its full extent?

Now time management has been touted as the B all and end all of efficiency, I challenge that too because without sufficient energy it will not matter how much time you have or not have. Your source of energy is akin to the level of gas that is in your tank...... empty = going nowhere and all the way up the scale to full will depend on how far you may go with your body........ Well now do you replenish your energy during the day, do you take time to relax no matter how busy your schedule?

Alrighty then no more questions for now but a request for action is being set forth before you and I am going to be in your face about it, because it is necessary and greater results are always achieved when there is accountability.

Now this very second make a commitment to yourself because your future life is on the line because we know that deep within you is the desire to not be mediocre or even second best to the champion that is within you, about you and all encompassing you and right now you have decided that Y...E...S it is time to achieve the me within.

A champions creed is that you have to visualise winning the goals you have written down so as a champion you are going to have a fast start from the gates and jump in the air with enthusiasm because if you do not start fast then go right back to bed and the mediocrity that has been your hallmark up to now......... Is this clear in your mind?

This is your creed as of today a) I am making a commitment because I am worth it.

b) as with all commitments I finish what I start because I am worth it.

c) I am making a promise to start strong because I want to finish strong and be energized.

d) I am systematically increasing my energy because that is how I am going to maintain a full tank.

e)I am going to have focus, balance, tons of energy and therefore I am going to be fully engaged and there are not going to be any excuses that will get in my way.

f) I am going to remove any and all reasons, excuses and negativity even negative people from my vision so I will have clear focus.

g) I am going to start with a script that will be my guidelines for the next 30 days while I reprogram my subconscious. Now a note here, every one of us follows a script every day with regards to the automatic actions that we participate in....... so this is nothing new, just adding a new script to achieve better results.

h) I am going to follow my script and have nonnegotiable rules of engagement that will be followed to the letter or else I will be sent to the prison of mediocrity.

Now with this new manifest developed in your psyche we can move ahead and it all has to begin with passion? ARE YOU SERIOUS ABOUT YOUR LIFE: YES I AM SERIOUS!!!

OK: I BELIEVE THAT I HAVE AN INDOMITABLE SPIRIT that will give ME supreme confidence, a spirit that will not be broken or defeated and I will have success.

Alrighty then, write to me and we will work this together and I will be able to remind you every day just like your personal trainer at the gym that the extra mile is worthy of you and you are worthy of your goals and a life of healthy abundance in all aspects of your life. Now be bold, be authoritative, be assured, be honest with yourself otherwise you are just like the criminals on the streets and face the prison of mediocrity..........

Repeat after me: I am grateful for all that I have and I thank God or my Higher Power for all that I have in my life. I have an abundance of physical and mental energy and I am the healthiest I have ever been. I am confidently and with absolute pleasure giving permission to myself to be powerful and successful.
