HBO, also referred to as Home Box Office, is one of the oldest running cable channels on the television.  We all grew up on HBO and anxiously awaited the monthly HBO book when it arrived in the mail to see what new movies or sporting events were going to be aired for the following month.  With all of the new drama series that HBO promotes now, it has become an even better channel to have.  Many HBO viewers enjoy the ability to watch HBO online as well as on tv.

HBO has always been famous for its comedy, boxing events, and new movies.  The standup comedy is still huge on HBO.  Good comedy always draws an audience and people have been showing up for HBO cable comedy for years.  The boxing events that are only aired on HBO will always be a big draw for the show.  Normally when a major fight is over the network channel is the only one to pick it up and re-air the fight within days of it being over.  HBO has always been famous for this.
