Selling Online With Or Without A Website

Thousands of people online are jumping into the Affiliate or Internet Marketing Business. The sad part is a high percentage of these people fail to make any money because they do not fully understand how to use the internet to make money.

It truly is a business solely based in advertising but not advertising in a conventional sense. Many people shy away because they do not understand how to build websites and figure there is no way you can have a business online without having a website.

Affiliate Marketing is the one business you can actually have online without having a website or even a blog. Of course having a website or blog can help build your business faster but it is not necessary.

1. The makers of guides and sites are in business to make money and having their students sell for them is a great way to increase business.

2. It is an easy way to help students grasp the marketing concept.

If more people took the time to investigate these guides and sites they would understand that the techniques being taught actually can be applied to selling anything online. You can take this training and even apply it to any business you may have already.

Let's say you run a plumbing company and want to get more exposure online. Any one of the top training guides and sites will teach marketing techniques to get more visits to your plumbing company website.

It's All About The Hype

My belief in what has scared people away from much of this material is the way it has been hyped. Slogans such as "Make Thousands A Day Online" or "Learn The Guru Secrets That Earn Me 30k A Month" have become so unbelievable to the average person. I guy working a job making $12 an hour is going to have a hard time believing he can sit at home on his computer and make thousands working online.

The reason "the hype" has become so outrageous is due to the rapid competition between those selling training guides. There are hundreds of programs that claim to be able to teach people how to learn internet marketing. Every time one of these guide or sites launches they feel like they have to "go bigger" than the other guys to capture the attention of a increasingly large consumer base looking for ways to make money online from home.

Who Wants To Work From Home?

It's the dream of millions to start a home based business and be able to wake up every day and work from home. Affiliate Marketing is fast becoming one of the best ways to reach those goals but going it alone can be very difficult. I personally tried on my own for several years and made a few dollars here and there but I never really was able to build it into a true home based business until I invested in the training
