Is Network Marketing still a business that you introduce to your warm market, or has technology completely changed network marketing like it has changed every other business model?
Do you remember the early days of network marketing whereby a friend would ask you and others to come to his house, and all of a sudden, and unannounced, a company rep would show up at the house and begin talking about the benefits of mlm. And you only thought you were at a gathering of friends.
Do you remember the early days of network marketing whereby you would have to maintain the inventory in your house or a warehouse? You would have to pay for the product up front, and earn when you sell.
Do you remember the days when your upline told you that network marketing is a "Warm Market" business, and you should sign up your friends, family, and colleagues? In fact, many uplines are still teaching this method. However, just as a warning, this method works for a few, but not for most. The most recent statistics show that 97.5% of network marketers are failing and quitting within the first 12 months.
Why is this? Because this 97.5% is not using technology to grow their business. Let's face it. There is not one business model in the world that technology has not affected...not one. And if you desire to grow your mlm, then you must use technology to grow it.
What technology am I talking about? The internet, of course. This is where you will find the millions of people that are searching for a home based business. It is estimated that approximately 11,000 people per day start a home based business.
So where do you want to go to find your downline? Where do you think you have the best chance of finding prospects? Would it be your friends, family, and colleagues at a house party? For best results, I recommend you go online and research methods to market your business on the internet and find the millions that are actively looking for a home based business, and leave your family and friends out of it.
