You are in charge of throwing the baby shower for your best friend who is expecting twins. Yes, twins, and you want to come up with cute little invites to make all of the other friends go "Ohhh, how cute! You are so creative!" when they see your twin baby shower invitation.

Another really funny way to invite people to a baby shower for twins is to send them two invites to the same party and label each 1 of 2 and 2 of 2 and mail them at the same time. You could also buy two different invitations, if you know the sex of the babies and it is one of each, key hole punch them and tie them together with a ribbon and say, "Twofer Baby Shower Celebration! ‘Susy' is having twins!"

If they are both the same sex use identical invitations done the same way. Then you get to cheat and buy store bought invites as your twin baby shower invitations... a little less creative, more stamps involved, but it makes life easier.

Ring Box Invitations

A third option to creating the perfect twin baby shower invitation is to not do a typical paper invitation. This will require a little more time and effort but it will be original and a fun keep sake for the mom to be. You will need to get little boxes, similar to what you see in wedding supplies or a ring box only slightly bigger.

It needs to be big enough to hold two pacifiers and if you know the sex of the babies, find miniature baby dolls. Tie the pacifiers together with ribbon and tie two mini babies to the pacifiers (if you know the sex) place them in the box on confetti.

If you go to a party store, you should be able to find confetti that looks like baby bottles, or possible babies. On the inside lid of the box is where you are going to put the invitation info. "Bob and Sue are going to have TWO! Please come to the Twin Baby Shower, we are inviting YOU!"

On any twin baby shower invitation you need to make sure that you are providing the date of shower, time, if there is a theme, RSVP phone number and name of person taking RSVP.

I realize that in the last example the space you have may be small. So perhaps on a piece of baby themed paper write the other pertinent information and roll it up and tie it with a ribbon and include it with the pacifiers.
