My computer had many missing shortcuts and corrupt registry keys then, causing my programs to take a long time before finding their destination keys.

I was so happy that my computer was running like new again, and I do a weekly scan on my registry keys now.

If your computer is not brand new, there are probably errors in your computer registry. Depending on the number of problems found, you can make a decision whether you want to go ahead and clean up your registry.
