McCain wants to keep minimum wage at $7.25 each hour by the year 2009. Obama wants to increase minimum wage to $9.50 each hour by the year 2011 and also wants to tie future rises onto inflation.
McCain wants to make tax credit equal to 10 percent of costs used on R&D. Obama is trying to double the federal spending for regular data and make R&D tax credit as a permanent. Also, Obama wants to create a $60 billion dollar infrastructure investment bank to help pay for public. McCain's quote about this was "We will creata a new system, using the unemployment/insurance taxes to build for each worker a buffer account against a sudden loss of income, so that in times of need they're not just told to fill out fourms and take one number." Obama had a quote about this also. His quote was "We will provide incentives to businesses and consumers to save energy and to also make buildings be more efficient. That's how we're going to create jobs that pay well and can't be outsourced." -Obama****.
Mccain said Consolidate federal unemployment programs and to reform training programs for people that look for jobs. Obama said also that he wants to establish a tax credit for companies that achieve or increase the number of full-time workers in the United States relative to the ones outside of the U.S. in different countries other than here.
I would honestly think that McCain would do better as the president of out country he just seems like he would do better nothing against Obama like because he is a different race or religion just that i feel that McCain would do better because he has had more experience and knows what to do better than Obama.
