Have you ever been completely fascinated by someone? You know, maybe you accidentally discovered you share the same interests and this person was way ahead of you in the field, but also very passionate about the subject and very eager to share the knowledge? And as you listened to this person talk, there was this energy between you... going back and forth and you could notice some features this person had that got you completely absorbed in conversation and you even forgot how much time passed by...
You couldn't believe how much you can learn from this person and how much he or she accomplished. When you start to feel that certain feeling somewhere in your body and as it begins to grow you know you could spend as much time with this person as humanly possible.
Want to know how to be this person?
There are two basic ways:
1.) Be fascinating (hey, it's a legitimate way :) )
2.) Secretly hypnotize them into feeling fascinated with you (now, this is a more sneaky way of achieving the same effect, isn't it? But it's much easier! Read on...)
You see, there's a secret not too many people know about... This is something you have to remember for your life, so read the next sentence several times:
In order to make sense of what's being said, people have to very briefly go inside their mind and experience it internally! So, if I were to talk about having a great time or mentioned the word party, you'd have to quickly experience the feelings associated with those concepts.
Indeed, if you think about it, when you read the last sentence, did you feel nice inside for a moment? These feelings can be extremely subtle, but they're always there! Their strength is directly proportional to rapport you have with the other person.
Now, our mind has something else in store for us... it's the most advanced pattern recognition machine in the world. And if you can make a person feel fascination in your presence long enough, her mind will automatically link the feeling to... YOU! There are some methods that accelerate the whole process and make it even stronger -- besides simply mentioning the words, you can also describe the feelings in detail, thus making it even easier for them to fully experience it.
OK, so how do you make people fascinated by you (= feel the feeling of fascination in your presence)?
Describe fascination to them! You can do this directly or indirectly by "quoting" someone. Also ask them: "How do you experience fascination?" And let them describe it for you... this is even better as they are their own best hypnotist!
It's very easy to start such conversations. You can say you read an interesting article about fascination (as you really did ;)
Say it talked about how each person experiences fascination in their own way. Proceed briefly by how you noticed you experience it and then ask them how they do...
Can you think of any other feelings you want people to feel with you?
