Confetti is a multitude of small pieces of paper or metallic material which is usually thrown at celebrations, especially weddings and game shows, as well as the end of a milestone or the occasion of a big win.
It has become a symbol at festivals; you can also find a fantastic range of special effects to bring the feel good factor to your event by using high powered big blaster and mini blaster confetti cannons that can flood any area with a cloud of confetti in a matter of seconds.
A sprinkling of confetti on the surface of a table where your guests are to be served there weeding banquette is a great way to spruce up your spread. Confetti may be mostly forgettable, but like bubbly at a wedding, the impression it leaves is light and effervescent. It can be used and enjoyed by everybody possible from people at gay weddings to pathological in-laws everybody seems to enjoy throwing it at the married couple.
A distinction is made between confetti and glitter; glitter is smaller and is universally shiny. Confetti in its most basic form, is very small squares of paper. Confetti can rain in a light sprinkle or pour down all over for a glittery, shimmery shower effect.
The English word confetti is related to the Italian sweet of the same name. The tradition of giving five Jordan almonds or five confetti pieces represents your wish for health, happiness, long life, prosperity and fertility.
If you want to plan a party on a budget, you can easily make confetti on your own. Simply choose paper the color that you wish your confetti to be, and cut it into the smallest pieces that you can.
