We were created in the image of God (Gen. 1:26); however, when you look around the neighbor and read about what's going on in the world, one has to ask themselves, what's gone wrong here? Let me see now. The last I checked, God, the Creator of the universe, or whatever name you want to give to He-She-It was still omnipotent. God could do anything God wanted to do. Granted we are "Derived" in all of our power (from God) whereas the Creator of the universe is the cause or "UN-derived" power. So, while we are "joint heirs" as Paul says in Romans eight (I hope he knew what he was talking about because this sounds great), we are nonetheless co-creators! I'm good with that! So, back to that awful conundrum of who we ARE now versus who we eternally IS or BE! Don't lose me now. Thomas Troward writes, 'We find ourselves standing between two infinites, the infinite of Mind and the infinite of Substance- from both of which we can draw what we will, and mold specific conditions out of the Universal Mind." Dang, that sure sounds good, but can someone Google me the road map as to how to get there? It seems that life has too many distractions, pleasures, and detours that we humanoids can get lost in and on. I wonder though. If we were given a specific detailed map, would we go? Would we FOLLOW as Jesus simply asked us to do? Or, would we keep on "limiting the unlimited" which by the way would we WE! Know what I mean Gene?
