We're all trying o figure out life- beyond the survival practices of making a living: buying food, clothing, and shelter. And then there's the egoic needs demanded of society that infuses every aspect of our life. The sage has told us that no man is an island, but how great that would be for a couple seasons in life so that we could re introduce ourselves to who we really are!Â
Quite frequently (is it the crowd I now associate with?) I am asked if I believe in reincarnation!
My stock answer and a truthful one is that figuring out this life is so difficult that it takes all the time I have and more that I don't have any time left to figure out yet another life- be it past or future. But this I do know. There are numerous and highly scientific studies and examples of people who recall a past life in great detail. To deny the reality of those people and what they know is to live a life of denial.
Scientists have no answers since still many of them deal only with physical matter.
But, here's where I am today, at this moment.
We know that there are savants who can recall massive amounts of information but within a limited (very limited) range. Some can quote populations of thousands of cities by glancing at such data. Some can recite detailed mathematical formulas, and so on. Ask them what 2+2 is and they don't know. Somehow they are able to break through a very small fragment of the ether.
I believe they can do such because we are all ONE!
In other words, we have the ability to know ALL THINGS because we ARE ALL THINGS. The universe is a hologram. Nothing can be totally separate. The part is the whole and the whole is a part. However, we have yet to evolve to the place where we understand how to access or know who we really are. Therefore those who recall living a past life (or more) have simply TAPPED IN to that small thread of the tapestry of the hologram much like a savant does. The person hasn't been reincarnated. The individual is just remembering one or a couple of lives of the vast hologram.
Perhaps our evolution as sentient beings is exponentially expanding at such a fast pace that we'll see more and more of everyone and therein realize that to injure another is to injure ourselves. What a thought, eh?About the Author:
As a spiritual-futurist, I have a BA degree majoring in history. One cannot know the future without knowing the past which holds clues to what is on the horizon. The world is in such a rapid expansion of knowledge that we are close to entering a tipping point that will forever change earth as we know it.
